Early Closure of Border Crossings

Early Closure of Border Crossings
Please be aware that the borders close early on Fridays and Saturdays (around 1pm or earlier), so we don’t recommend crossing on these days.
If you insist on finishing a tour on these days, a possibility is to return via the Jordan River/ Sheikh Hussein Crossing in the north, which closes slightly later on the weekend. But this adds a lot of travelling time, and will increase the cost. You would need to leave Jerusalem around 4pm, and we will add a minimum of $200 to the total trip cost.
Occasionally, the Israeli Authorities also close Allenby Bridge early. This happens a couple of times a year and is unannounced. In this case it is possible to travel via Jordan Valley/ Sheikh Hussein Crossing in the North.

Refusal of entry at the border
As a tour company we make sure that you have all the information you need to cross the border prior to your trip. We, however, have no control over the procedures and systems followed by the border authorities, so we can’t guarantee that they will finally let you enter either country.
Please be aware that if a customer is denied entry at the border by the border authorities for any reason, we can’t be responsible for that, hence the cancelation terms shown below would be applicable.
Minimum 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking, and full payment is due 60 days prior to the tour start date (transfers are an exception to this).
Payment is possible by bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
Tour and Transfer Notes
60+ Days before the trip – 75% refund
31 – 60 Days before the trip – 50% refund
0 – 30 Days before the trip – no refund
15+ Days before the trip – 75% refund
05 – 14 Days before the trip – 50% refund
0 – 04 Days before the trip – no refund
If you cancel your trip and qualify for a refund, as per the cancellation policy above, we will process the refund within 1 week of agreement to the refund. The money will normally be refunded by the same method the payment was made, unless mutually agreed by both parties to transfer the refund by a different method.
If paying by credit card directly through the office, there is an additional 6% charge to cover the credit card company commission costs, which we still pay even when providing a refund.
If paying by Paypal, there are no additional Paypal charges if the refund is requested within 2 months of the original payment. After this period the refund amount will be sent through paypal, but the customer will have to pay the normal paypal charges to receive this payment.
Delivery Policy & Method:
In order to get approval to receive Credit Card payment, we have to have a section titled “Deliver Policy & Method” in our terms and conditions. Since we provide services, rather than delivery of products, this section is not really necessary. But here it is anyway 🙂
