Our weekly walks are guided day hikes on various sections of the Abraham Path in Jordan, the Jordan National Trail and more of our favourite location in Jordan, and general include lunch with local families.
Below are details of our walks for 2014, we are developing our schedule and the full itinerary will be available shortly:
Fri-Sat 8-9 August Wadi Hidan (Full Moon) 2 day trip Hiking/Camping
Fri 15 August Cycling Madaba/Wadi Zarqa Main (upper trail) Cycling/Hiking – 6 Hours – Moderatre/Difficult
Our walks vary in cost, depending upon the services provided. Some of our simple walks just include a guide whilst other walks cost more and the price includes a local hiking guide, a walk host who will meet the group in Amman at the start, lunch with local families and transportation from end of walk back the start point. Some walks also include overnight accommodations and transport. Please contact us directly regarding each specific trip for full inclusions and price.
All transportation from Amman is included in price. The meeting times vary depending on the season and the length of the specific walk. The final details for each walk are on our newsletter.
What to bring:
Please bring sufficient drinking water and sun protection. Wear comfortable and supportive shoes, appropriate hiking clothing and anything else you may need in a daypack. Please note our winter Dead Sea canyon walks can include scrambling up loose rocks, and also along ledges or up steep slopes, so please be aware if you have a fear of heights. Check the description for each walk for more specific details.
